Car Care with Integrity
The Tom Dwyer Automotive Difference
Tom Dwyer Automotive Services is different because we see each person as a client instead of a customer. We’re here to build service relationships that protect our clients and their valuable vehicle investments for the long term, not to sell one-off repair jobs to customers. Service Advice In YOUR Interests
All our service recommendations are based on your vehicle’s needs and your ownership priorities, not our quotas or commissions. Tom’s sole directive is to give you the same advice and service we’d give our family and friends.

Courtney RosenthalTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a good experience with Tom Dwyer and recommend them. My service rep was Perry, who did a great job working with me and communicating about the work. It turned out to be a bit pricey (ouch!), but they caught some things my previous mechanic had missed during regular service. My car has been eating batteries every two years and my previous mechanic just kept selling me new ones and saying there's nothing wrong. Perry found that there is a service bulletin out on my car (2017 Subaru Legacy) that may explain why, and so I'll follow up on that. (He also checked if we might get a battery replacement under warranty, before selling me a new one.) They did find issues with the front end, possibly bent frame, but recommended just keeping an eye on it for now. (It was so close to spec and would be hard/expensive to address.) I'm the kind of person that wants to maintain my car well so I can drive it as long as it's reliable and safe. I think I've found the right garage to help me do that. Long term, honesty is always cheaper. I have used Tom Dwyer for decades. I keep my cars for a long time, so I have had all sorts of major service. Most recently a radiator replacement. I travel from NE Portland to Sellwood because quality and honesty are worth the trip. They will never sell you a service you don’t need. I’m just passing through town but I work in an adjacent trade, and I now have a very high opinion of this repair shop. They were very conscientious about their work and pricing and did a great job at getting me on the road the same day Matthew BryantTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tom Dwyer is just what you would want in the neighborhood. They are honest, fairly priced, great at communicating, and do quality and timely work. I’m really happy with them. Special thanks to Perry for great customer service.Google rating score: 4.6 of 5, based on 186 reviews, showing only 5 star reviews
