“Have scheduled pickup times”

We absolutely realize how much easier it would be to have scheduled pickup times for our clients to plan around, but we can’t do it because we won’t make promises we can’t keep.  When your vehicle is in for service it’s here with about 30 other vehicles with their own needs.  We can and do juggle all these successfully, but with that many opportunities for things to go wrong we can’t promise precisely when each would be done, or service any of them on a while-you-wait basis or in short time windows.   We can’t promise exactly when your vehicle will be done, but we can promise that we’ll call you as soon as we can know.  For a more detailed answer, please check out “Why do we need your car for the whole day?” (one of this month’s Feature articles) that goes a little deeper.

New addition to our rock gallery

Tom swung by the other day with a new addition to our lobby rock gallery, and you just have to see it!  It’s a piece of quartz about 8” high that’s got a pocket of air and water that’s been trapped inside for millions of years.  Check out this video for now, but ask about the rock next time you’re in… Charles will gladly get it out and show you!

Automobiles are just like any other product; occasional flaws in manufacture or design can cause problems once they leave the factory.  When an issue is identified the manufacturers and government work hard to bring the vehicles back in for refit or repair, but not all recalls make the front pages.  The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration maintains a constantly updated list of recalls from every manufacturer.
