Comment of the Month

This months’ Comment wasn’t made to us, but appeared nationally in the Washington Post.  It’s way down at the bottom of the article so if you don’t want to read the whole thing, here is the comment from Sellwood Resident Martha Mattus (who is, BTW, a Dwyer client)…

“The homeless don’t vanish or cease to exist if you destroy their camps,” wrote Martha Mattus of Portland, Oregon. “The money being wasted on this totally unwarranted invasion of DC by Federal forces would be much better spent on increasing affordable housing and on more treatment options for those with mental and drug addiction issues who make up a significant portion of the homeless population.”

Nothing for us to add to Martha’s spot-on observation, we just wanted to take the opportunity to shout out one of our locals for getting national love.  Way to go, Martha!

Latest Automotive Recalls

Automobiles are just like any other product; occasional flaws in manufacture or design can cause problems once they leave the factory.  When an issue is identified the manufacturers and government work hard to bring the vehicles back in for refit or repair, but not all recalls make the front pages.  The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration maintains a constantly updated list of recalls from every manufacturer.
